VitalNova AI ("VitalNova," "we," "us," or "our") provides an AI-powered health and wellness platform, including diet plans, workout plans, an AI health coach, health calculators, and progress tracking. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our website and app, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.

We collect information in three ways:

• Account information you provide directly — name, email address, and password (or your Google account details if you sign in with Google).
• Health and lifestyle information you choose to enter — date of birth, gender, height, weight, health conditions, activity level, dietary preferences, goals, medications, and daily logs (meals, water, sleep, steps, workouts, mood, and body measurements).
• Usage information collected automatically — pages visited, features used, device and browser type, and general diagnostic information needed to keep the service running reliably.

We use your information to:

• Generate and continuously personalize your AI diet plans, workout plans, and coaching recommendations.
• Calculate your health score, BMI, calorie targets, and other metrics you request.
• Operate your account, process subscription payments, and provide customer support.
• Send service-related communications (e.g., email verification, password resets, billing receipts) and, where you've opted in, product updates.
• Maintain the security, integrity, and performance of the platform.

We do not sell your personal or health data to third parties.

Some of the information you provide — such as medical conditions, medications, and body measurements — is sensitive health information. We treat this data with additional care: it is used solely to personalize your own plan and is never used for advertising or shared with data brokers. Access within our systems is restricted to what is technically necessary to operate the feature you're using.

To provide our service, we share limited data with carefully selected processors, strictly for the purpose of operating VitalNova AI:

• Supabase — our database, authentication, and file-storage provider.
• Google Gemini API — processes your profile summary and logged activity to generate AI diet plans, workout plans, coaching responses, and insights. Prompts sent to the AI model include only the data needed to personalize your response.
• Razorpay — processes subscription payments. VitalNova does not store your full card or bank details; Razorpay handles payment credentials directly.

Each provider is contractually restricted to using your data only to deliver the service to you.

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies (to keep you signed in) and preference cookies (to remember your language and light/dark theme choice). See our Cookie Policy for full details.

We retain your account and health data for as long as your account is active, so your AI plans and history remain accurate and useful. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain records (such as billing records) for legal or accounting purposes.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data (most fields are editable directly in your Profile).
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Export your data in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent for optional communications at any time.

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, role-based access controls, and row-level security on our database so that users can only ever access their own records. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to continuously improve our safeguards.

VitalNova AI is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

VitalNova AI is operated from India, and your information may be processed in India or in the countries where our service providers operate. By using VitalNova AI, you consent to this transfer and processing in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice on the platform before the changes take effect.
